Uniontown Cemetery, Wells County, Indiana

Uniontown Cemetery is located in Wells County, Indiana on County Road 1150 N, east of County Road 300 W in Union Township. The Uniontown Cemetery came into existence after the Uniontown Church was built in 1830.Until this time most residents of this vicinity had used the old Uniontown Cemetery which lies a short distance back of the present site. At one time there was a small settlement here which was also called Uniontown. The first person buried in the new Uniontown Cemetery was Mrs. Samuel (Susannah) Nickelson, September 24, 1825.
