This is an every-name to the Hendricks County, Indiana school directory for the years 1894-1964. The Danville-Center Township Public Library (101 S. Indiana St., Danville IN 46122) has copies of these directories, which were published annually.
No directory was found for the 1905-1906 school year or the 1906-1907 school year, and some of the directories for other years are incomplete.
Beginning with the directories that were published in the 1950s, the information for Guilford Township schools was omitted. This coincided with Plainfield's formation of a school corporation.
The information that was included in the school directory varied from year to year -- teachers, school employees and county officials were often included; students were occasionally included.
