About This Resource:
The cemetery is located in Augusta Springs, just off of Route 42. The Miller
Memorial Church located in Augusta Springs on Rt. 811, just to the east, owns this cemetery. The
cemetery is located on top of a hill behind a farm equipment dealer; the entrance is located just
to the south of the equipment dealer and is on top of the hill. The cemetery itself is still in
use and is surrounded by a white fence. The earliest date of interment appears to be from the
1920s. There also appears to be one Civil War soldier interred with the designation that he fought
for the Confederate States.
The cemetery was read and imaged in October 2004. The database and associated images are the copyrighted work of William E. Wilson, Jr. who generously supplied them to the Allen County Public Library for distribution to individual genealogical researchers.
About Searching This Resource:
The database doesn't store the surname separately from the first name,
so you'll have to enter your search like this:
The search engine will try to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, if Use Fuzzy Search is
set to Yes (which it is by default), the search engine will
match partial names. If you search for Smith, the engine will find
anything that has Smith in it. It would find Smith, Adam, Smithson, Ted, etc.
If you set Use Fuzzy Search to No, then searching for Smith, Adam will
only find entries whose name is exactly Smith, Adam. It will not find Smith, Adam T.
Please use the fields below to refine your search. Note that while none of
the fields are mandatory, you'll get better results if you refine your search.
Also, to keep the system running smoothly, the search will return a maximum of
1000 items.
