World War I Soldiers, Hancock County Indiana
The staff at the Fortville-Vernon Twp. Library compiled this list all World War I servicemen from Hancock County. The compilation was derived from a book called Hancock County Indiana in the World War 1914-1918, compiled by a committee appointed by the County Council of Defense in 1921. The committee included: Frank Johnson, Chr., Mrs. John F. Mitchell, Sr., Miss Daisy Harlan, Robert F. Reeves, George J. Richman.
